10/10 for composition yes.?..

Thanks Andrew, the compliment is most appreciated, I wasnt going mention that GOTO,s were off for a whole session, I automated a script to take a sequence and went and watched a movie.. LOL, I got half an Omeg, missed another entirely, and this charmer... Gotta laugh hey...?...Ill get my AC adapter for the camera soon, so I can do more damage in one session...:D
AC adapter is a good idea for long sessions especially on cold nights.
Got to laugh mate, we've all stuffed up along the way.
I once was trying to reach focus on the full moon but couldn't see anything for ages because I still had the solar filter on the ED80 from earlier in the day.

OK, I think I've worked it out - bear with me here. You intended to take a photo of the Dumbell centred in your image. Your goto was off, hence the target is off centre. You cryptically try to hide the error by pointing to an unknown, uninteresting little star and pick on it, hoping to fool us all! You almost succeed, but a little light niggles in my brain...........
(See - a university education come is handy occasionally - I worked it out!)
ps. three-quarters of a dumbell is better than no dumbell?

Yup , did a couple of sequences myself with hartman still on, also took an entire sequence with the flip in the wrong place. Laughing at yourself is great for the blood pressure...:)

Now I know why you guys insulate your observatories - it's for when you have to bang your head against the wall for silly mistakes - reduced damage!
All we open air observers can do is kick the card table, or if really annoyed, the scope! Ouch! Recollimate!

Thats what the beanies are for Erick, not for the cold but reducing the pain when you head butt your pier...I wear 4 one over the other. and so on...:D Another beautiful day , dark blue, Ill try get to the bottom of the GOTO issue, and do the dummy again tonight, TBC...;)
Nice image Shawn, yellow stars are my favourite. :D
Looking at the size of the Dumbell in the image, the 14" is going to yield some spectacular results.
