To my surprise we had clear skies in Perth last night so I spent about 7-8 hours imaging before the moon showed over my shed. I still have to do a stack of M20 and Eta from last night ..... so later.

All imaging done with SW 200mm F5 Newt, EQ6 Pro and Canon 350D plus MPCC and Baader UV/IR filter unguided.

Hi Steve,
Absolutely wonderful. Can't imagine you improving any. They're as close to perfect as i could see. Top shots!

Steve, stunning work mate

Image 1 & 2 would be nice with a longer exposures to bring the neb out, but all the others are magic!!!

More neb might be able to brought out in number 1 & 2 in PhotoShop. It looks like the data is in there to bring out :)

Really nice images Steve.

I wish I had the same success as you on Friday night. I tried to take some images of M8 as well, but rushed my setup and ended up with dodgy polar alignment and poor focus - so didn't get any usable images. :mad2:

Thanks everyone for your encouraging comments .... I found the M20 and Eta stacks and am posting them today. M20 came out really good compared to my previous images. Take a look.

Hi Steve,
good to see you beginning to stack things, you'll be surprised with what you can do!
You've done a great job on Omega Centaurus. Really nice colour and pin point stars.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers
