They look kinda funky. At least you can see detail. But great try!

corona australis look good, but during some of the stacking the there are some duplication errors by the looks of the middle image. a little flairing, some CA, and a good effort.

yeah i couldnt put my finger on it for the middle image, just had a look at it and yep, duplicate image was stacked, ill have to have another go and fix the bugger up.

Benno, what is your setup? It is quite a challenge to get good shots without a tracking mount - your best chance is to use your lens wide open, the higest possible iso and shoot many short shots. Depending on the fl of your lens you can get away with, maybe, 10-15s before you get noticeable star trails....

yeah no tracking mount for me, im still getting used to the camera itself actually, im pretty happy with my efforts to date though, but yeah i know what you mean with the star trails.
how many short shots would it take to really get the full colour range and sharpness once stacked?

They look a little dark and distorted, but what can i say, i havn't even tried it! ;)
