Hi Everyone,

I'm not much of an imager but I was quite pleased with these. All shots taken with 20D on 10" Dob. No Tracking or Stacking ;) .

Average - Poor seeing.

It was great to see the two planets in my 26mm plossl, can't wait till tomorrow to see them together in my 14mm UWA!

1. Venus and Saturn as shot in camera.
2. Venus and Saturn moved together in Photoshop and 100% crop.
3. Full moon - slight boost in PS.

Enjoy.

Dave.

That's some good photography there, Dave.

Number 1 is a pearler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You manged to get then both so small and far apart, and yet you can still see what they are. Good work.

Very nice Dave, you have captured some great images. Number 2 is a beauty, what sort of exposure times were you using.

Cheers

Thanks Everyone.

Exposure times were:
Using my F5 dob my exposure time was around 1/400 ISO 400 (I think) for the pair. 1/4000 for Venus by itself and 1/200 for Saturn by itself.

1/320 for the moon.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks everyone for your encouragment and kind words! :)

I've just gotten home after another session tonight. I will post the new shot (probably much like the first shot just closer together) tomorrow.

The two planets looked great tonight just fitting into the field of my 14mm UWA. I also had several family and friends drop past for a look.

Nice work indeed Dave, be very proud of those images!

Will we see you and the camera in action at Ron's on the 14th?

Thanks Steve, I'm not yet sure about Ron's this month.

I'm hoping to get there!
