I recieved an email informing me of a response message left on my 'You Tube' video.

I went into 'You Tube' and read the response. :eyepop:

All I can say is that there is always atleast one in every crowd!

After all the hard work that goes into capturing my images, I don't think they are 'Book' quality

If I was going to photograph images from a book, I think I would use much better images :screwy:

Interesting how CCD Amp Glow is now classed as "contrast from the reflection of the light hitting the pages"

I won't even waste my time calling him things like 'Jerk'! :screwy:

Read the response here: (it's the 2nd one) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwCMCJpW80M

Ah well...that's the way it sometimes goes when you put your stuff out their, Ken.

Gotta take the good with the bad, I suppose.:)

You're right to ignore the comment. It doesn't warrant a response. You'd only give the wally credit he doesn't deserve.

Yep, it's out there for public response! And I got some

Very nice presentation Ken, I enjoyed it.

I will gladly lower myself....and enjoy this too..."What a w@*#Kr."

so ignorant...doesn't even bother to look into something before he slags off at someone.

I'm all for tolerance, understanding and forgiveness, but I am human too and this is my emotional reflex response to twits like this having a go at someone's honest hard work and passion.

If u-tube would let me log in, dunno why it wont, i would give this guy a mouthful.

Baz.

I always thought you looked shifty Ken, I mean how can you honestly get an image like yours with out some hint of skill, dedication and perseverance. Yep must have come from a book!!! LOL neanderthal!!!

I think he gives himself up as someone who would do what he accuses you of Ken. Sad really.

I would be annoyed at having those unnecessary negative comments associated with my work. Can the comment be edited out?

Hi Ken, I find it quite annoying to see comments like that after all the hard work you have put into your presentation. I for one appreciate your work and contributions.

Remember "Those who can do, those who can't make silly comments"

Cheers

sad case of jealously. He probably cant take photo himself so he has to rubbish everyone else.

These sorts of people have no life, no talent and no ability so all they do is knock others who show some zest for life.

When you put your work into youtube for public comment there's always some moron who will slag off even the best work, so it doesn't pay to be oversensitive. One just doesn't expect such morons to be viewing an astrophotography clip.

That guy (bob is his name), isn't into astronomy himself.
How can he comment on something he doesn't know?
It is an very good presentation Ken

Too right, Ken. There are peanuts and Peanuts and . . . peanuts.

Ignore it, mate. As you say, there's one born every day; don't take it personally.

Like Baz (qv) I too couldn't sign in to make my comment. Still, it's here and that's what counts.

Youtube is full of people like that. I see a lot of it, you see some guy play a unreal guitar solo and some tosser reckons its out of time in places. don't listen to them, thats all they do bag this and bag that but never do anything themselves. Someone should put a post with the link to the fake book ken did that would confuse them even more

mrbuster123 has very graciously apologised. Bravo to him for that. It takes courage to admit your mistakes. I will follow suit by apologising for calling him a colorful Australian metaphor.

In saying that, I would without hesitation, do it again in defence of Ken's, or anyone else's hard work and effort.

No hard feelings mrbuster123. Maybe now you can come onto IIS as a contributing member and learn all about the wonderful world of astrophotography.

As I cant login to utube, can anyone pass this on to him there or refer him here.

Ken, I cant wait to see the next one mate! Keep us posted.

Ken I compliment you on the movie.
I was impressed.
I was very impressed with your gentle responce on utube.. you are a gentleman.

Also the chap coming forward shows some courage and decency... he too can now be admired...so is it not wonderful so much good has been generated from your input.

I found your effort inspirational to be honest and at the risk of puting you in the spot light can not stop from saying so.

some people just walk around trying to put everyone else down and look good in the process. I have not yet worked out why they even chose to get out of bed. Seeing the world is so beneath them.. Alas it takes all kinds. At least this one has apologized so there is hope.

Nice work ken and nice music selection.

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

I did email him yesterday and invited him to IceInSpace to see for himself the hard work we all put into our images, the dedication, and the equipment involved.

I think he must have had a look!

Thank you my friends

Thanks Snug and Petra. Much appreciated.

I am half way thru video part 2, and the images (most of them have been posted in here) are better than the ones I used in part 1 . The images in Part 1 go back to when I first started Imaging nearly 2 years ago.
I like watching Part 1 coz It brings back memories of a lot of long cold nights

I am yet to capture more images to finish Part 2, but with the help of the IR filter I am getting tommorrow, they should be even better again! I hope.
I think you might enjoy the way Part 2 starts!
