Just in time for the clear skies predicted over the weekend, take a look at the jetstream moving East.

Really need that High Pressure system to develop, quickly!

Make a list of DVDs yet to watch. Got to video store and stock up.

Plan to get lots of sleep. Dream of clear skies and 8-9.5/10 seeing.

Find some time to clean dust off astro gear.

Nothing but thick cloud at the moment and the winds picking up, can just make out the glow of a almost full moon.

You think that youve got problems. After lot of clears skies and not a hint of winter, when does the weatherman deside a change is due. You guessed it, from tonight right through to next thursday. Rain, wind and severe weather warnings. And to cap it off, we have been sitting in the middle of the yellow patch in the jetstream all week. GREAT!!

I think it will be goodby to the Venus and Saturn conjunction and I will have to admire the wonderful pics I am sure will be comming from other locations.

That map shows us as reasonably untouched by jetstream here, but besides the rain it is very very windy! VERY windy!
