Whilst waiting for interstellar comet C/2025 N1 (ATLAS) to clear the tree line, I slewed over to Centaurus A and grabbed 120x60 sec exposures using my newly acquired Celestron C11 Edge HD.

Celestron C11 Edge HD, F10, 2800mm, ASI2600MM Duo. Unguided on Paramount MX+.

120x60 sec exposures. Lum data only.

#1 shows a slightly cropped full FOV.
#2 is a full res 1280x960 crop from the centre.

Nice data Dennis, I think I can see the start of some of the shells towards the outer edges of the core.

Hi Dennis,
that's excellent - it's sharp and clear -
you should be very happy with that. :)

cheers

Thank you, Jason and Allan, I appreciate you looking and commenting.:)

I’m not really a deep sky or galaxy imager and I was quite stunned at what the C11 Edge delivered from my Bortle 6/7 suburb.

Cheers

Thanks Trevor, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it scrubbed up under the light pollution of Brisbane.:)
