Took this one same night as the Trifid shot (plus some I have no idea but are fine captures)

Here is another orphan (to me). If I had set out like usual to get a specific object (or objects) I would have a list or somethiong but all I can say they were in or near the MIlky way (Sagitarius area I think)

Great shots Alex. If They are near the tail of scorpio They might be M7 and M6

I have to agree with Paul. The 3rd shot is definitely M6, The Butterfly. The outline of the wings is easily made out, & with that red giant in it's tail......
2nd shot looks like M7.

I agree, definitely the two open clusters near the scorpions tail.

Here is another which I tried to improve inphoto shop and backed off the colour.. being colour blind I can only guess the result.. but the hue and saturation adjustment gave more detail

Nice images Alex! Well done! What camera do you have again?

It may interest you to know that these two clusters are very close to RCW105 (that I posted earlier). RCW105 forms an *almost* equilateral triangle with these two clusters towards the south-west, so it's very close.

I actually found the nebula using the two clusters as a reference because it was not in any of my charts or my two telescope control databases.
