In Stockholm where I live in Sweden we have a couple of old observatories. One of them is Boberg's Observatory at Skansen. I have taken some photos of it and written down some information. As it's today it isn't open for the public, maybe in the future.

Ferdinand Boberg was a famous architect in Sweden and this observatory was a gift to Skansen from him.

Hi Lars
Thanks for posting this, a nice little read.
Hopefully, you will get to look inside someday.

Hi Philip,
I hope that too, and now Skansen know that people want to have a look inside.
I updated the page with some more information yesterday.

Enjoyed your post, always an interesting look into the history of astronomy in Sweden and who wouldn't like an observatory as a gift.

That's great, I'd never heard of this observatory. I liked the representation of the solar system outside, it would be a great thing to be able to see inside it. Thanks for the post, much appreciated!

I think if you call Skansen and ask about a look inside it could be possible for a group of people, but I'm not sure.
I updated the info with som new I found:
