Suffice to say I've taken a novel approach to what was a vast data-set.
The resulting view of our closest star is rather unique.

Enjoy!

As per usual amazing imaging!
I did have one question though, where did you find the time machine?
LOL, I know it's a typo.
Sorry, it's in the small print I struggle to read at the bottom.

I am sure you took a photo of a tennis ball and inverted the colours. Simply amazing clarity and details.

Ta gents...well my cat (Max the magnificent) seemed to like it (often jumping on my desk while I worked on the image) and judging by the number of views, maybe not too shabby after all :)

Thanks Joe....given the weather of late...think I've made a grievous error in
my choice of hobby.
Might take up underwater basket weaving instead.....:)

An interesting effect Peter. I wonder what the image would look like if you kept the proms as they are and turned the surface into a positive image?
Thanks, John W.

Good question!
Yep...as it turns out...been there...done that...and got the T-shirt :)
Unfortunately that approach didn't make the cut at Royal Greenwich.
(a place where I like to throw my hat into the ring every so often ;). )
(Despite the lack of kudos, I rather liked it.....hence might publish the positive image in due course)
