My 2nd Attempt at scripts in SIRL separating OSC data into HA and OIII, then recombining using Pixel math, to give a Hubble effect image, after tweaking colour calibration and histogram channels, post processing in PS for some minor touch up, hope you like this interpretation :)

Trev,
Is this the same Trevor from Perth ?
Wow what a difference from your previous work, colour is pretty damn good , maybe a tad too bright or saturated on the Ha but it’s all subjective anyway. Love the blue !! this is stereotypical Hubble palette.
Image seems a tad noisy though ?? How many hrs ? Do you use calibration ?
Nicely processed considering this is your 2nd attempt !!!
Onwards and upwards from here !!
You can see from your Hubble images that details in the objects structures are more accentuated against the contrast between Ha and Oiii.
NB: One can get carried away with colour , brightness and saturation with Ha and Oiii in Hubble palette which leads to masking fine detail in these emission nebula. Another problem is that images can start looking like 70’s Pop Art. A conservative approach is recommended.
Can you throw some clear nights our way , Sydney and the East coast has been plagued with cloudy nights for weeks and weeks
Well done Trev !!

Thanks Martin and Pierre - Martin toned it down a bit processing on 4k monitor so looks quiet bright and saturated on standard monitor

Trev,
I checked both version 1 and version 2 on my desktop and my Astro lappy and I prefer something between V1 and V2
V2 looks a bit washed out to be honest
V1 blue is spot on whereas the golden tan is tad too rich
Only my opinion
Cheers
