I finally dodged enough clouds to add some more panels to my original 3 Panel mosaic. I was a bit unsatisfied where my original framing ended at the edge, and it felt a little unfinished. With the added panels, the object feels better framed and more "complete."

As usual, click Here to see the Technical card on Astrobin (https://astrob.in/pcc69p/0/).

Don't forget to have a look around the full resolution version as well! (https://www.astrobin.com/full/pcc69p/0/?mod=&real=)

Thanks for looking, and Clear Skies!

Well now, that is some very high praise! I hope that the next time I image this region, I can continue to elicit such epithets!

Thank you very much!

Thanks Steve! I hope to get this printed large and hung on my wall soon.

I've got resolution for days on this one, so I should be able to get it done at any size I want!

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to look!

This is actually at half the full image size as I generally do all my image processing with drizzle2x files, then resample back to native resolution before posting.

Even still, I have more than enough resolution to print this quite large!

Thanks Dave, and i definitely agree about it deserving to be on my wall!

I'll probably do a small test print for the office and to confirm the colours/saturation, etc. then push it big (1,200x400) for my wall at home.

Thanks Trevor! I think I threw out at least that much again (probably more!) in bad data from clouds!

Thanks Warren! I'll need to run at least 1 test print before committing to getting it done big!

Thanks Rodney! the IOTD was a welcome surprise!

Thanks Graham!

Thanks Nik! I'm always surprised (and very pleased) at how well the Tak can perform in my skies.

Thanks Bob! That is certainly some high praise to be throwing out this early in the year!

Thanks Adam!

Thanks Doug!
I'm surprised people don't present a panoramic aspect ratio more often!
