Its that time of year again when the Milky-way's Emu climbs out of Mnt Warning (a remnant core of a shield volcano that was last active 23 million years ago) Ne Nsw, near Murwillumbah.
The high pointy part is on the left side of the crater so-to-speak, and the lge bump just to the right is the right part of the crater, it is about 1klm across..

Was lucky having a clear patch of sky after the trough of storms around last weekend, cloud still around in patches and fortunately burned off for this evening, ,

Specs: Standard tripod, Canon 6D II, 20 x 13secs, iso 5000, Sigma Art 20mm F1.4

Hope worth a Squizz , ,

A few yrs since last time there.
This time had a concreting mate learning his SW-tracker and Canon R8, quite amazed with his results too ...

That’s a ripper Bob!
Nice contrast with the Milky Way dazzling bright over the silhouetted crater landscape.

Much appreciated Anthony, quite some fidgety zonal processing I find with these to resemble an in ball-park representation, while strongish enhancing is done, keeping things balanced I find walking away during processing for a period of time helps some what ..
