Hi,
I had not taken any planetary images for over one year. Now my teaching duties of this year are coming to the end. So, I can have some time to try imaging again.
Went out for imaging on last Friday with a 6" F5 Newtonian. Originally planned for deep sky imaging at that night. But there were too much scattered clouds over the sky at my observation site. So, changed to image Jupiter. But Jupiter had moved much to the west horizon. At the time I took this image, Jupiter was just above 45* high above horizon. So, seeing condition was not good.
6" F5 Newtonian + 5x + ToUcam, 700 frames stacked, post processed in PS.
Of course, that is not so detailed as Bird's latest images. Still Hope you would like to take a look.
Clear skies,
LT
