Seriously, why? Watch the marketing video on Utube, if you screw a camera on the front your losing serious apeture. RASA 8 might be ok, but a 6 is just a product line opportunity IMHO. Serious imagers avoid. I expect this will be deleted.

Why would this get deleted Glen?
I expect you’ll probably delete this yourself.

Well actually I think it's not that bad, I have the 8, did own an 11 and now with the harmonic drive mounts it makes for a great travel setup. And especially for all those people who are challenged, as with back issues and can't lift much, be a nice alternative.

Oh and btw celestron didn't pay me for that advertising, it was for free.

As for cameras, well I'm sure you could find a nice matchup depending on what your poison is.

And remember he who has the most toys wins;)

You would not want to use a DSLR or mirrorless camera but a round astro camera with a diameter less than or equal to the central obstruction should be good. The Celestron Origin is only 6", with a built-in camera, and built in everything else, for that matter.

Sounds like it could be fun, and a small uncooled camera that doesn’t obstruct should be good.. like a 533 OSC?

At f/2.2 the subs would be pretty short…

The pricing also leaves a bad taste to the mouth.
Rasa 6. $3150
Rasa 8. $4000
Rasa 11$7500
The rasa 6 should be around $1500-$2500
The sad reality of astronomy.
