Here is a reprocessed image from last year in April. I can't be bothered to put up all the details but it was taken with the 5DH and modded 100ED.
It must be cloudy....

bert you need to breakout..............I suppose you could do a flicker image to search for asteroids and such........

You are correct h0ughy but it is difficult to search for anything when the sky is obscured by these things called cloud and fog!

I do have other pursuits but they shall remain nameless on the grounds of self incrimination.

I just thought people would like to see a reasonable image as far as I can tell there is not one better at this field of view around lately or is it ever and I won't say never.

I will now go back to looking at my imaging equipment and realise how impotent we are collectively!

Always nice to see a fine image!!! Did you use a focal reducer on the ED 100 Bert?.
I know what you mean with the weather. Everytime its clear up here lately the jetstream is at full bore!!! might have had one good night in the last 2 months...

Cabin Fever Bert? You should try living on this island then.
If you have the time, try adding this bit of Ha to your colour shot, OK, it isn't exactly the same image scale, but it is as wide as I can find straight away. It is a reduced JPEG, but I have the TIFF if that is better.

Great image Bert. :thumbsup: Details resolve very well with the 100ED. Personally, I'd take up the challenge of adding Gary's Ha data. If I'm not mistaken you also use Registar so you'll be able to easily scale the data from the two different telescopes so both images are registered, then its time to have some fun in PS. Big fun I would expect as the Ha data looks very strong so you're colours will wash quickly. May need to layer/flatten a few times to get them back in order and restore balance. Worth a try if you have the time none the less.:D
