Hey Guys!
I know there are fellow guitar players out there that can help me hopefully!
I'm looking for the chords to a James Reyne song titled "Rainbows Dead End"
If you havent heard it and are a fan its a good song!

I can't find the chords to it ANYWHERE on Google!

I've been trying to find the chords to this song too and saw your post.
I don't know if you've had any luck as your post is from quite some time ago, but as I also couldn't find the chords I've tried figuring them out.
It's not 100% right but this is how I play it.

The basic progression goes as follows:
Intro - D/A/Em x2
Verse 1: D/A/Em x3
then for the "this must be the rainbows dead end" it goes G/C/D I think, but there could possibly be another quick chord strum (possibly G?) before the D.
Verse 2: Follows the same D/A/Em progression but then play the G/C/D bit twice as James sings it twice here.
The next bit I struggle with (the four lines that start "if we get separated...")
I think it's something like:
F#m/?/A/D
F#m/?/A
F#m/?/A/D
F#m/?/A
For the ? bits I can't figure out what that chord is so I keep playing F#m.
Verse 3 goes the same as verse 2.
Solo chords:
D/A/Em x3 then
G/C/D x2
Verse 4 goes the same as verse 2 & 3 but this time James sings "this must be the rainbows dead end" three times, and you finish with a strum on the D chord on the "dead end".
You can play Cadd9 instead of C too if you want.

I hope this helps!
If you have it figured out any better than me, then please let me know too so I can get it right, it's a great song.
Cheers.:)

Sounds like F#m/G/A/D to me.

Hi

The chords to "The Rainbow's Dead End" are:

D/A/Em for the verses
with G/C/G/D for the end "chorus" bit
and F#m/G/A/D
F#m/G/A (all x 2) for the bridge bit.
