This occultation is visible in most of Australia (except Queensland and north of NT) around 17-18h UTC (past midnight in NSW).
As I am in Australia (around Sydney, somewhere in NSW) on that date, I am going to observe it, weather allowing.
Past week (5 Mar) I saw a Pleiades (Alcyone) occultation in full daylight from the EU.

That was otherworldly!
Antares suspended over the sunlit Lunar horizon before disappearance giving a magnificent colour contrast with the Moon's surface, and then the re-appearance an hour later was exceedingly cool to watch. Antares B appearing first, several seconds ahead of A, again with a stunnig colour contrast between the pair. The seeing was just good enough to keep the pair split as it moved away from the limb. Between the two events, the Moon occupying Antares' exact spot in Scorpius was a weird look.

I took a vid/photos as well, which I'll review and post later on if any good.

Awesome stuff, worth getting up for

I've seen the disappearence very clearly, but missed the reappearence. I was on the coast in Budgewoi, between Newcastle and Sydney (Central Coast).

Missed the disappearance by seconds because of some pesky cloud. The skies had cleared completely in time for the re-appearance. A splendid sight.
