Here are two versions of a mosaic I have captured and processed tonight. One is full size but low quality (32%) the other is reduced size but higher quality (66%).

Mosaic of six stacks of 30 images each, MAP processed in R4. Merged in PS CS2. Mild wavelets in R4. Cropped, tidied up and saved for the web in PS CS3. Captured with the ToUCam, negative projection with C8, 2.5x Powermate, UV/IR filter, and K3ccdtools.

Fairly froze in the process (lappy was showing 50% battery capacity just seconds before it went into hibernation from the cold - "computer says 'Noooooo!!!!!'".

Thanks guys.

It was one of those nights that just evolved without a plan. It was such a brilliant day yesterday I had to get the scope out. Then I realised the moon was up, so I thought I'd just set up in the front yard and image that and then maybe Jupiter. While drift aligning in AZ on the moon I thought the seeing looked good so I stuck the camera in to start capturing... I never finished drift aligning, or even check collimation!

My max min thermometer tells it got down to -5 deg C last night. I believe it!
