Does anyone know whether a QHY filter wheel will work with other cameras such as Player One, Toupek, or ZWO, :thanx:

Why wouldn't they with the correct adapter? The only issue might be that the sensor is slightly further away from the CCD using a different brand. There are websites that can tell you if there would be any vignetting if you give numbers for distance and filter size. I think most software that I'm aware of doesn't require a camera to be the same brand as the FW.

ZWO filter wheels have the advantage of requiring just 1 x short USB2 cable direct to spare USB port on ZWO cooled camera , no need for separate 12V power supply cables and comm cables. From my understanding QHY require both.
Mechanically connecting shouldn’t be an issue with the right adapters etc.. but I read somewhere on CN that folk had trouble mixing and matching ZWO cameras to QHY filter wheels ( driver USB comms issues ??? ) . Can’t find the post or link.
My ZWO EFW 7 x 2” FW has performed flawlessly for nearly 2 years now.
