Nice capture, hopefully it will be clear here tonight. It should be starting to get above the orange sunset glow from now on.

Thanks for posting the image Joe, a very nice capture. Still hoping to be able to see the comet in another day or 2 or 3, if this never ending coastal cloud and rain will magically evaporate.
A great catch!
I've yet so see it in the evening sky.
Great image Joe!
Could I check my comet details from you?
I have Australian Eastern Daylight Saving time 11 hours ahead of UT and my Stellarium data for Atlas G3 2024 puts it below ground level by 9.15AEST in Canberra. You seem to be imaging much later than that in NSW (after 10pm?) so I must have something wrong!

Great pic! I attempted to find it visually yesterday evening but couldn't catch it. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Ross,
Thanks very much.
You're times are correct. I'm a bit west of CBR but only 5-10 mins later on the set time. I think you misread my time of capture.
The picture was taken at 10:10 UT (9:10pm) not 10:10pm.
cheers
Joe
Gotcha, I was plugging in the wrong UT time. Phew! Glad to know my tracking data is okay. Do not have your 2 degree western horizon but will give it a go tonight and tomorrow if those west hugging clouds allow!
