Space X are scheduling the launch of their 7th Integrated flight test of Starship from Star Base facility at Boca Chica in Texas later this week
If weather is nominal the launch has been scheduled for Thursday 16th January at 9.00am (Australian eastern daylight saving time ) with a 1.5hr launch window
Both booster and ship have undergone numerous upgrades and design changes with this flight being the first Block 2 series designs.
Major milestones are booster catch via chopsticks , simulated ship catch , simulated Starlink satellite deployment, inflight re light of ship raptor engines , further heat shield testing on re entry using 2 types of heat shield protection and others.
