I spent 41 hours imaging the Witches head from my Bortle 5 back yard. This is a combination of Luminance RGB and Ha with a cooled mono 533 and Antlia filters @ FL of 270mm with 60mm aperture through my Askar V.
The AM3 performed really well.

Fantastic result from Bortle 5 skies Paul. A tricky one to capture even from dark skies, so your effort here makes this even more outstanding. Those 41 hrs have even brought out reasonable detail in some of those larger 'faint fuzzies' in the background. Well done!

Thanks!
Thanks. It was a issue with LP but more subs meant less and less noise however more would be required for sharpness. I'm happy with this though and thanks for your comments!
Thanks Greg.

That's one wicked witch Paul! :eyepop:
Lovely filigree detail, like she is looking into a wind of acid rain
Not a negative and they do look cool but it feels like the galaxies need some more RGB..?
Great work.

Hi Mike. Thanks! Yes this image definitely needs more rgb. Its only got 3 hours and needs about another 15 hours or so of rgb. I ran out of clear skies and patience lol
