After taking a shot last year of a section of the SNR, I knew I wanted to do more of it this year. Over the new year period I managed a few nights, with some of them being quite poor seeing / windy. I managed to get some really great stuff last night, which only served to show me how poor the other subs were.

I could collect some more nights and throw away the poor stuff, or I could move onto another target.

Its a big sky!

Nice image plenty of detail, I can sympathise re the with winds, here in Perth the last few nights with the hot days, by about 12 midnight the winds have been gusting to over 24k an hr, thankfully the smaller scope I'm currently using isn't effected (tracking) by it as much in the obs, although no doubt the seeing conditions are somewhat :)

22 hours over 3 nights this summer...that's unbelievable!

Yea, it is unbelievable because its not true, haha. I think it was 4 nights total, but when I entered it into astrobin I just put in the total sub numbers for each filter, not bothering about the sessions.
