Hi Everyone
this is my latest pic taken with CDK14 and F4.8 reducer on a GM2000 mount, ZWO 6200mm and Antlia filters.
Done in RGB and Ha around 18 hours of data 5 and 10 minute exposures no guiding.
CG 4, commonly referred to as God's Hand, is a star-forming region located in the Puppis constellation, about 1,300 light-years from Earth. It is one of several objects referred to as "cometary globules", because its shape is similar to that of a comet.

Great target & image Manuel. I have got this on my to do list having seen it in a mosaic I did of the Gum nebula last year..might not quite have the FL but will give it a go.

Thanks mate and just give it ago , I did that at 1700mm focal length so yes it helps and it’s not a very bright object so takes a bit of data . Good luck when you do yours.

A terrific image. You really nailed this one.
How are you guiding? The reducer has such a short back focus it makes an off axis guide solution difficult. Are you using a thin ZWO guider?

Hi Greg
I am not guiding as the CDK is mounted on a 10 micron GM2000 so no guiding needed. This mounts are fantastic and let you do all types of set ups.

Splendid image. This target was on my list last year and I never made it. And it's on my list this year, but I dont think I'll get to dark enough skies to make it a reality... one day I'll do it, but until then, I'll just admire images like this!
