NGC 2035 is an emission nebula and a H II region in the Dorado constellation and part of the Large Magellanic Cloud. It was discovered by James Dunlop on August 3, 1826. Its apparent size is 3.0.



Magnitude: 10.99



Apparent magnitude (V): 10.99

Constellation: Dora Lulab Dorado

I saw this pic so thought I'd comment. This is also my current target and although I haven't been able to get much data thus far, with the never failing to disappoint weather, I am already amazed at how good it is- you will definitely benefit from Ha & O3 filters (in fact I am only intending to use those 2 filters and not just cos of the limiting weather).

Thanks Gary I was meant to capture Ha but didn't - I am also looking top purchase 1.25" Oiii and Sii filters in the new year - the LRGB set I am using are Optolong which I think are causing a bit of star flaring
