Much to the delight of our local neighbourhood we've had a couple of Koalas
take up residence atop to the Woronora River valley (opposite where I live)
This little fellow (https://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery698.html)was spotted across the road last week
It's a national shame they are now endangered :mad2:

Lovely photo Peter!
I've only ever seen one locally crossing a road at night and I stopped before hitting it (midway around a bend). A friend argued it must have been a wombat but I do know the difference. Recently there were some discovered not far out of town at Hartley, it would be nice to see them more often here.
Did you see the article about the fellow north west NSW who cleared a few thousand acres and has just been fined over $1,000,000,000 for the clearing of several species habitat?
It seemed he didn't care.

Ta. Yes, I did read about that fine. He clearly could afford it. Should have been 10x as much
