For sale is a unused ZWO Filter Drawer M42 V2. This replaced V1 holder which I used when doing one shot color imaging, but transitioned to mono shortly after I purchased this one. Hence it was never used, just taken out of the box to check. This is no longer required. Excellent condition, like new.
The updated version 2 of ZWO's M42 filter drawer allows the addition of a 2" filter to the optical train. You can manually add and swap filters without having to touch or disturb the rest of your optical train.
The included filter holder has a M48 x 0.75 thread for standard 2" filters. Two magnets secure the draw and a grab screw adjusts its tension. The drawer includes a M42 female - M48 male adapter to adapt the drawer to accessories with M48 x 0.75 thread. It has an optical thickness of 21mm.
Note: Thread interface is M42 x 0.75 - full-frame cameras such as the ASI2400/ASI6200 are not compatible, as the free aperture is smaller than the sensor diagonal of 43.3mm. Instead buy the M54 version.
