For sale is a Optolong L-eNhance filter for color CMOS or CCD color camera or DSLR. I used it when doing one shot color imaging, but since transitioning to mono, this is no longer required. Excellent condition, like new.
Optolong L-eNhance is a dual-band pass filter which has been designed for DSLR (digital SLR), color CMOS and monochrome CCD cameras. The convenience and cost effectiveness of this filter allows amateurs to image a rich selection of astronomical images, even in bright, heavily light-polluted areas. It effectively isolates the H-Alpha, H-Beta, and Oxygen III nebula emission lines and achieves a maximum transmission of up to 90%. The performance of this filter delivers images that superbly control.
Overview:
- It blocks the artificial light from mercury vapour lamps, both high and low pressure sodium vapour lights and the unwanted natural light caused by neutral oxygen emission in our atmosphere (i.e. skyglow).
- Maximum transmission of the main nebula emission lines at OIII (496nm and 500nm), H-beta (486nm) and H-alpha (656nm).
- Three transmission bands - ~25nm for OIII & H-beta, ~11nm for H-alpha.
- Ideal for urban areas with high light pollution.
