It's just out of your shot to the upper left (or maybe behind the tree at upper left?). Try tonight - Saturn and the Moon in very close proximity.

EDIT:- Ingo, attached is a predicted view from some software - should be for Albany 11pm 18th June. Sorry it's so small. Saturn moves much closer to the Moon over the subsequent hours, but it's below the horizon for you. We see the closest approach (about half a degree) in our night sky around 8pm tonight our time (Melbourne), weather permitting:sadeyes: .

Thanks for the information. I didn't see saturn. I thought it was well below the horizon because I could already see Jupiter. Jupiter was never above the horizon when saturn was directly up in the sky, so I just thought saturn was below the horizon.

Agreed Eric, Saturn would have been higher to the left according to positions in my images.

Weather did not permit - heavy cloud and showers - not even good rain. Grumble.
