Compiled from fifty 180-second exposures using a Skywatcher Esprit 100mm refractor, an ASI2600MC Pro Duo on a ZWO AM5 mount. Processed in PixInsight and Photoshop.

I'd love to be able to get images like this!
No permanent set-up, my alignment changes every time I take my mount out possibly dependant on the legs being spread at different angles I'm guessing, 3 star alignment isn't possible, I don't really have enough clear views to try drift alignment with neighbouring obstructions and last of all, i probably just suck at imaging but when I finally get my pier in, who knows.....
I really have to take my mount out to a friends 34 acre farm locally one night, the sky is the limit I hear?
Snake season turns me off walking around the farm in hot weather at night and they get some big snakes out at Hartley.
Still, I get a lot of joy out of seeing the stunning images members post on here!

Thank you very much for your comments. However, you must see that mine is not a particularly good image. I understand what you say about the snakes - all i can say is that you should make a big racket in the dark (snakes tend to be fairly timid and don't like ground vibrations).
