Here's a few pics taken the other weekend during the floods and rain..
1, 2 and 3: From the local bikepark where we take our kids to ride their bikes. The (usually small) creek that surrounds one edge of the park was up about 2 metres and covered the bikepark in about 1/2 a metre of water.
4, 5 and 6: A small creek that runs along side the main road leading in to my house. It was also up about 2 metres.
3 more next post.

1: The road leading to the bikepark, the water covered the road by about 1/2 to 1 metre.
2 and 3: The miniature trains at Narara.

Hey Mike
Do you ever take a break?
Even your "documenting the flood” photos are very well composed; an eye-catching object or splash of colour at the appropriate point, something placed at the edge of the frame to lead your eye into the picture……
Cheers
Dennis
Well said Dennis, I agree.
Great pics Mike, it's amazing how familiar landmarks are transformed into "alien wetworlds" so quickly.

Its amazing how much depth the smooth surface of the floodwater adds to the 1st shot in your first post Mike. You've captured the moment really well.

Nice images Mike!
Good to see the miniature trains at Narara! I remember them from when I was a little fella (OK, a kid!;) )... I assume it's the same place:shrug: . Glad to see it's still there 40 years later!
