Had an attempt at NGC4945 with new guide scope (chopped down 70x500mm) with XY shifter and flip mirror. I was absolutely delighted with the rigidity of the new system and the ease of finding a guide star for the TVGuider. So much easier now.
Just after posting this image I thought it didnt look as crisp as my usual shots, so I checked the settings on the camera. It was set to Medium JPG. Another attak of the Homer Simsons. Just another thing to check in the dark.
That is a great effort Allan, i always love those extended Galaxies.:eyepop:

Great seeing one of my favourite galaxies so clear.

Wait til you see my other thread in Equipment.
PS I forgot to add: Thanks for all the kind comments but its really due to my new modded guidescope and in particular the XYFinder which makes it all so easy.
Wow, that's lovely Allen !!!
The colours look great too.
Well done.

Shot with a C8+f6.3 reducer. Its strange how the brain disfunctions when it gets dark - getting old don't help either.
