View Full Version here: : M80 and M4
Hi guys.
Anyone got a great image of either or both of these DSOs in Scorpio which I can use for an upcoming episode of SkyWatch?
Obviously, you'll be fully credited on screen:)
Please pm if interested.

Sorry, but when is SkyWatch on? I have ABC2, but not the slightest idea when anything is on.
Thanks Brad.

I don't have any M80's and my M4 just ain't good enough for TV.
Hi Brad.
New episodes air every monday night during the AustraliaWide program.
I think it's replayed several times on the same day or throughout the week, but am not sure:shrug:

Thankyou Rob and Matt. Looks like it's on at a good time for me to sit back with a coffee before putting the kids to bed
Cheers Brad.

Its of Antares / Rho Ophiuci / M4 / NGC 6441
But Mike's is better if you are looking for a close up.
Monte.
Yours is a fabulous shot and the more the merrier.
We tend to get through a few images per segment, so yours is most helpful. Nice to have a wide shot as well as a close-up.
Many thanks:thumbsup:

Glad it might be of use
The seeing was poor that night so I had a few autoguiding issues and needed to use some tricks to sharpen it up a little too.
Cheers
Mike
Thanks to folks who were kind enough to submit images:thumbsup:
As I've stated in a previous thread, it would be easy to get pics from the traditional sources and use those for episodes of SkyWatch, but I'd much rather give some of the very talented and enthusiastic imagers at this website a chance to showcase their excellent work to a different and possibly broader audience:)
So many of you guys do great work and I think it's thrilling to see it up there on a TV screen.
I'm also motivated by the desire to give something back to this great community which has been very good to me over nearly 2 years.
So...keep 'em rollin' in.
Matt
