NGC 249 is an emission nebula in the constellation Tucana. It was discovered on 5 September 1826 by the astronomer James Dunlop.

Magnitude: 15

Apparent magnitude (V): 15

Constellation: Tucana



6 hours of data captured Sept/Oct, the central nebula is NGC249

Can be done in narrowband like yours aaaand HaOIIIRGB like my recent version :P

Well done !
Just got back to Sydney after 17 days travelling through the South West Cape region of WA. Only 1 half clear night and cloudy most of the time but a beautiful part of Oz I must say. The wines pretty good too.
You obviously don’t hail from that part of WA as you’ve posted images fairly consistently over the past year or so.
