This is 30 hours of the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC). Consisting of NGC 265, 269, 290, 294, 292, 346, and others. I used Foraxx palette as it was the best to bring out the detail. This FOV captures the essence of the cloud. The stars are numerous so I kept my FOV on this part. I used a 60mm aperture on the Askar v with Field Flattener at 360 FL at F6. I used 10 min sub exposures as its not a very bright region. I was happy with the AM3 as I got round stars with all sub exposures. I processed this in Pixinsight and minor tweaking in Photoshop. I used Antlia 3nm Ha, Oii, Sii filters.

Pretty much everything worth including in the SMC, nicely framed and processed Paul, has a real artistic, almost ceramic glaze, look to it

Thanks. Took hours and hours of data to achieve some level of detail sharp enough to post. Its not that bright and I think you need 100mm plus aperature at f4 to do it justice. But it framed nicely with this setup but at f6
Thanks Mike. I think Foraxx gives it that look. Its very much a red target so sho is not very effective. So the only other option was duo. Having processed both it was the foraxx that won. Also the multidue of stars totally drowned out the nebula and had to be masked and reduced. So I think that also gives this that surreal effect.

Thanks Nik. Its hard because its got so many stars and wispy nebula its hard to get proper focus and clarity of detail. I saw your rendition at almost same FOV and it looks great.

Thanks Rodney. Took me ages to figure out the Foraxx script but finally realised I can process and stretch and then extract channels apply script and combine. Lol
