That's a beautiful image!
I am a little confused, how did you go about stacking image groups with 2 different formats and pixel sizing?
That must have taken a lot of time processing?
I guess pixel size wouldn't matter but the 4/3 and square formats must have presented quite the challenge, image stretching perhaps?
Regardless, the results are stunning!

Astropixel processor does most of this.
I allows for different cameras and focal lengths and stacks/combines and blends the images using different parameters and it is fast compared to pixinsight WBPP.

I'd not heard of the process as you've done and assumed it would be quite the time consuming, challenging task. I wasn't sure on the 224 but a friend in Arizona has the 533 and I knew they were a square format. I guess it makes sense, whenever I print my moon shots I usually trim the paper to square, round planets and stuff fit better on square than rectangular. Though few galaxies or nebula are round I guess, other than spiral galaxies and, and.....

The end results certainly speak for themselves!

That's a superb Helix Nik. Keeping previous years data for adding to a current run is good image housekeeping.

Colour is also excellent

Thanks guys, unfortunately I can't do much else at the moment, my mount decided to not work properly and I have to strip it down for a service so will not be imaging this for a while.
