Hi Leon, the comet is very low pretty much due east and about 5 degrees above the horizon at 4.30am. Tomorrow morning will probably be the last morning it will be visible in the morning.
From about the 15th it will reappear in the evening sky low in the west and hopefully still bright or maybe even brighter.
Rick
Thank you Rick, today i have been out searching for a suitable Easterly direction and think I might have found a suitable vantage point.
Will try and get a shot of it if the weather is favorable, and if not I will have to wait till the next opportunity

That’s a ripper Rick!
Love how it’s dipping into the horizon- that long tail is spectacular.
Let’s wait and see what transpires in the west…

That's a brilliant shot Rick! thanks for sharing!
So after perihelion when it comes out the other side will we be able to see it in the southern hemisphere?
Cheers

The Southern hemisphere gets the best view, it should be visible low in the west after about the 14th of October around 7.00pm
