Took my chances last night setting the Alarm with a 50/50'ish cloud/no cloud abouts this morn, damned if not out there with this cranking comet at this altitude before slipping behind Sol soon, yes she pops out again but take em chances while you can..
Awoken to a very promising view on the Satellite images so lets get this happening..

What an actual Treat as well, easily naked eye, tail included at its peak around 4:40-45am, long distant glasses was even betterra..

Gear: Tripod, Canon 6DII, Canon 'L' 70-200mm
1st portrait @ 100mm and 2nd Landscape @ 70mm..

Another fine set of images Bob! You lucked it out with the weather and reaped the reward. It's over as a morning shot for me now, I'll wait and see how close it is to the western horizon next month before I give it another go. ;)

Was hoping you’d get some more boat shots Bob.I think I,ll have another crack tomorrow morning.I really hope it makes it to an evening comet.

Thanx Michael, yeah, bit risky weather here now also but seems very clear for you this Thurs Morn down there, I think next 2-3 morns ok then comet speeds up to hide with sun again  ;)

yeah sure did Derek, will be interesting mid month seeing if tail has grown, comet itself will dull to Mag 2'ish by then apparently
