This is a very lucky capture that has been a few days in the making as I work to fine-tune capture and processing techniques.

Because of the comet's impending perihelion, there is a very limited window of opportunity to capture this before dawn as it rises above my local horizon.

For this capture, I had setup two scopes; both were pointed at this beauty as it rose from behind the trees in the in the ever increasing dawn light. This has been very difficult to manage the capturing and effective processing of the images. I've used every ounce of my limited PixInsight knowledge to try and manage the gradients, stacking artifacts, lack of guiding, etc.

Its been worth it though.

Make sure to check it out on Astrobin (https://www.astrobin.com/iu5drb/)

Wow!
That’s a cracking image Josh/ what a catch.
Great utilisation of both cams to make an astounding record of this elusive comet.
Well done -your persistence and skills have payed off here.

Is not the comet only about 8 degrees above the horizon before dawn?

Excellent capture. Assume not much wind there or a very firm mount.

I got up at 5.00am today to see if it was visible to the naked eye...the sky was brighter than I expected, hence no joy.

An very good capture indeed
