Hi Again. Tried out a new rig last night, but unfortunately the seeing wasn't co-operating, was average at best and worse. Finally repaired my EQ6Pro and did the belt mod at the same time and mounted my recently acquired 150mm F8 ED on it and pointed it at the moon. Am mostly pleased with its performance despite the seeing and am looking forward to some better nights on the planets over the next few months.

Really liking the first two images of ol' Luna, solid work. Nothing wrong with any of the others, either, well done.
For a day that's traditionally associated with bad luck, you got some very good results.

The lunar images are extremely crisp and I like Saturn and your shots look great. I always say any image results which show it's a planet are great. I mostly play with smaller equipment (scopes) but have a couple of 8" units which I really should be taking out more regularly. I can't remember the last time I bothered but it would have been last summer.
I'll get my head straight one day and start again.

Very nice Jeff - I love how detailed Copernicus is in #2. The shots of Saturn are really nice too with some good detail. When you said mono - did you shoot with a particular filter for that one?
Your shots are a good example for people who don't think they can do any planetary imaging with a 6" scope! Great work

Thanks to all for your kind comments. Dave, the lunar and mono Saturn were with the 290mm and 23a red filter. Saturn was captured@ f20 ( 2.5 Powermate ) The colour Saturn was with a 290mc, I am wondering if it is possible to blend the mono Saturn with the colour version, same sensor after all.
