I wonder if the new 76mm will replace the DC and DS.

Was wondering the same about the FS60. I hope they keep the CB as the CP is just wider body but can still use the Q module though require different shell clamp than the 60CB and 76DCU

They're now defaulting to More Blue tube rings. Good decision :)

No prices yet except for the 65 which strangely was released in the US over a month ago and nowhere else!

Is this the only flourite triplet Tak makes?
That could be a hot little scope for a nice portable lightweight rig.
Greg.

I have confirmed with Takahashi via a shop that the FS-60CB will not be discontinued

Oh yes, of course.
But that is a large air gap triplet which has its disadvantages (cool down time,
Front heavy, potentially fussy with collimation).

No, the TOA series use two FPL53 fluorocrown elements either side of a BSL7 centre element while the the FS and FC series use lab grown CaF2 fluorite. TSA optics are the reverse of TOA, ie, BSL7-FPL53-BSL7

All true... I'd still happily sell what's left of my soul for a TOA130...

Yeah I’d have to sell 2 Tak scopes, a mount and a kidney to get one new now
