After a many month delay with 12 volt battery problems last night was the first with a couple of hours of clear sky, a bonus, also moonless.
The picture is a stack of 12 5 minute exposures at gain three with a QHY8l.
Telescope Takahashi 250 CDK, mount Mesu mount 200 MK1

Stacking and processing in APP.
I am not entirely happy with the processing so any advice would be most welcome.

Looks pretty good to me mate.
I do prefer a little more colour saturation.
You could sharpen it up a bit with a little high pass filter on PS, maybe, but just a touch.
How did you get all that blue? No filter at all?

Hello Glen,
As you surmise no filters at all, just a dark site (Bortle1) at my back yard observatory

Hi Chris,

Lovely sharp image there. As Glenn said, boost the colour saturation (but not too much) to bring out the blues and reds.

Cheers,
V.

Looks amazing! The natural colour and detail in the reflection nebula is really spectacular.
