Doing my usual H-alpha Sun-run, I noticed rather special seeing this morning.
Posted a HD image as a result.

Thanks gents. With the first day of Spring on Sunday, I expect the daytime seeing to degrade as temperatures slowly warm....might have to see if I'm still any good at night-time imaging! :)

Spectacular prominences :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
There's a nasty wind warning with a few cold fronts sweeping from the south west. Not sure what that will do to temperatures but the transition from winter to spring still has a few hiccups in reserve it seems.

Ta Marc. Indeed remarkably unsettled conditions. Gusts well over 100km per hour, particularly in the NSW high country.

Ta gents. The large prom was not overly bright. The QHY533m usually has enough dynamic range to tease out faint details, but on this occasion I did two exposure runs, and combined the long and short exposure data.
