Quite a bit of aurora action last night. This one taken from home in Southern Tasmania using an allsky camera. Starting to get some better contrast now.

An interesting show as there was forecasted some heavier action.
The allsky all-night lapse ability is a great capturing tool for the record Peter.
Enjoyed it in deed..

That's really impressive Peter - hope you got to see it in real time as well.

Thanks Bob and David. I didn't stay up for this one as it was a school night. I'm liking the allsky as it looks after itself and makes the timelapse automatically at dawn. I can also use other M43 lenses if I want a narrower fov rather than the entire sky view.

Tried again last night however the moon and clouds got in the way for most of the event.

Still good show and strong activity a couple o times through the night,, good stuff.
Seems good for potential at-the-moment tonight too, Im however not too familiar with the forecast model and how it translates to 'Reality,, yet.
Quite some Cloud Swaths down the Sth Aus and toward the Polar regions ATM ?

It will be challenging with the full moon for now.
