Getting better.

Most of these except for Antares and Omega Centauri, were combinations of a few 30 second lights and ten 30 second darks. All at ISO1600 Prime focus C11 with a Canon 400D.

Criticisms welcome. Advice welcome.

I may have lost a bit on image resizing.

Baz.

Hi Baz, the addition of the lights and darks has helped to bring out more detail in your images they are looking good. I am no expert with DSLR photography but I think you may need to increase your exposure times as well to really pull out the fine detail.

Thanks Ric and yes, I totally agree. I don't have an illuminated reticule eyepiece yet. I am waiting for that and an ED80 so I can start guided shots properly.

Until then, I am forced to stick to 30 second exposures stacked. I am not satisfied with them at the moment, but I can see the little improvement with practice.

Ron...Thanks mate!
