Hi all
I was imaging jupiter a couple of nights ago with my LPI and getting pretty good results until it started to look a bit orange :confuse2:
Does anyone else get this?
Gain=90 Offset=32 Exposure.177
Cheers

It looks like colour balance.. I'm not familiar with the LPI settings, but do you get the option to alter the colour balance?
Also gain is set very high.. was transparency bad when you shot this?

Hi Mike
No conditions were great that night. There's no colour balance I can see on the LPI autostar suite. Images were fine until they started to go orange. It's happened a few times before. Its no big deal though because I allways have plenty of good ones before it happens.
Just bought a meade 8" lx55 sc newt with go to system 2nd hand. Can't wait to use it. Might even be posting in the deep space section soon. :D Thats if the clouds go :mad2:
Cheers
Simon
