I acquired a near new Kodak Baby Brownie camera today (1935 or thereabouts (made in the U.S.A. without bulb exposure button of later models)) from the local Salvo's and am curious about cutting down the 120 film to suit the old 127 camera. I've seen mention of many people doing this but I don't even know if I can still get 120 film.
Does anyone here have any experience with such things?
I have a lot of old cameras dating back to the early 1900s but this is my first Baby Brownie (several other models), the mechanism is so simplistic.
I guess even if I found film I'd have to find somewhere to get it exposed. My enlarger and room has long gone (by at least 50 odd years).

If not remotely available it will sit on a display shelf.

Hi Leo...

Digidirect are advertising 127, so maybe you could save the trouble!

Thank you sir!
That will certainly save me a lot of messing around because while I see there are little 3D printed devices to cut film down I should imagine it would have to be done in total darkness wih just a red torch at best.
The condition of this old camera I'd love to run a roll of film through it and maybe grab a roll of 120 while I'm at it and run it through my old Rollei cord.
As mentioned, I love old cameras and would have well over 100 in my collection going back to my first camera 2 1/4" square (as they were known, maybe 120 medium format) Ensign with bellows I was given as my first camera when I was 11. It was old then.
Now to find somewhere to do processing. If not overly expensive it would give me course to pull my 2 Nikon 35mm cameras out and play, one I purchased new in 1991.
To think I was given 4 full mini-labs (working) I scrapped because of the weight and lack of room......
