I take these are recent images and so are daytime captures? Remarkable control of color and getting good seeing for such focual lengths is even more difficult during the day.

They are nice images of Jupiter Steve but it would be most informative to know the image capture details. What date and time and what camera and processing software would also be helpful. Jupiter was in superior conjunction on the 19th of May, meaning it was close to the sun, in line of sight, making it difficult to image. So if these are recent you've done very well.

Hi Jeff
Thanks for your comments.
Yes I agree I should comment with details of this image.
All I can remember it was close to 4 months ago using ZWO ASI 224 MC using Registax 6 using I think 2x Barlow on a permanent pier.
I will start keeping info on my images for reference to share.
I have just purchased the ZWO ASI071MC Pro so Im excited to see what images I can get. My next phase is to use Filters ????
All the best guys
Cheers Steve :thanx:

Pretty good early Jupiter Steve. Saturn's looking good for this season too with the rings almost level.

Steve,

Many programmes like fire capture, AS4 etc can be set to automatically record or retain capture date and time (sometimes as universal time rather than local time) and also camera used in the file name. This is very handy when looking back on old files. Failing that, the properties record on the original version of the file can often identify the time.
