13th May.

Partly cloudy day - but I managed to get an image of the sunspots today to show the last of the active region that was responsible for the aurora over the weekend. AR 3664 has been a large sunspot group for the last week and has produced numerous M class flares and at least 8 X class flares in this time.
Single exposure with Canon 550d, Herschel wedge, WO 81 mm refractor.
Thanks for viewing.

Nice image of all them spots there John, If I remember it takes about 8-9 days for a spot to transverse from limb to limb, hmm I wonder if AR 3664 comes back around and be as big and active,,, Guess will know before long..
